50 percent of the spaces allocated to participating countries aExpo 2015will be delivered by December, these are the first 30 lots for the construction ofpavilionsfor the Universal Exposition to be held in Milan next 2015. The works are proceeding in a workmanlike manner and the timing sees the completion of 3/4 of the works by February 2014. The complete allocation of spaces is expected by April next year thus, from 75 percent, 100 percent completeness will be reached in the following months.

For what concernItalian pavilion, the "Palazzo Italia" will see the peak of its installation next November. Commissioner Giuseppe Sala, at the opening of the International Participants Meeting which takes place in Turin, in collaboration with the Bie, Bureau International des Expositions, gave the pace of the work in view of the April 2015 event.

The Universal Exposition to be held from April 2015 will represent at least 86 percent of the world population. As reported by ilsole24ore, the organization of EXPO 2015is in full swing: 65 participation contracts have already been signed, another 10 will be signed today, the final day of the work. And 112 commissioners appointed so far, "this means - explains Sala - that there are clearly defined counterparts in the management of relations with the participants". Great economic benefits for Italy
In view of theExpo, between six and eight million foreign visitors are expected, a figure that reaches 20 million if Italians are also considered, with an estimated economic impact, according to a study by the Bocconi University of Milan, of 10 billion in the medium term.

The economic advantages do not concern only the strong tourist incoming: if we consider only the direct investments by the 60 countries that will build their ownpavilions,the figure amounts to one billion euros. Considering the private partners currently already involved, there is talk of a total of 300 million contributions both in the form of funds and services.
